AI-assisted treatment documentation

NOVA may use an AI-assisted documentation system to convert spoken content during a treatment consultation directly into a text draft. No retrievable audio recording is created or stored. Processing takes place locally within the practice; conversation content, audio data and transcripts are not transmitted to external AI services and are not used to train AI models. The resulting text is reviewed and, where necessary, corrected by the treating professional before it becomes part of the clinical record. No diagnostic, medical or therapeutic decisions are made automatically.

Everyone present is informed before the system is activated and is asked for express agreement. If its use is not desired, documentation is completed by another method without any disadvantage to treatment. For minors, information and involvement are adapted to age, development and capacity, with parents or legal guardians included where required.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.
